I was looking at some posts on Facebook and I found that one of my (French) friends posted a song called ‘U-Turn (Lili)’ of AaRON. AaRON is a French pop-duo and I guess they’re not very well known internationally, because I’ve never heard of them. The song was integrated into the movie ‘Je vais bien, ne t’en fais pas’ as a song written by a character to his sister (they changed the name of the sister into Lili so that it would match the song).
The song is so incredibly beautiful. It’s filled with emotion, the lyrics are touching and the way Simon Buret sings in combination with the hammering piano makes it all sound very desperate and sad.
